Your Crew

Join our multidisciplinary team of 11 engineers, where you will play a pivotal role in the industrialization and support of serial production of launch vehicle structures in Emmen (LU). You'll thrive in a multicultural environment, closely collaborating with development engineering and our operations organization, and engaging with a broad range of technologies. Your Mission

  • Provide daily support to manufacturing operations and related support teams to ensure technically accurate manufacturing and product flow, thereby maintaining necessary quality, on-time delivery, and production costs.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, quality, design engineering, and other teams to define manufacturing work instructions, equipment usage, tools, materials, and training.
  • Utilize project management techniques and tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.
  • Play a key role in the non-conformance process, ensuring appropriate procedures for root cause analysis, corrective measures, and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Support continuous improvements in manufacturing processes to meet customer quality, cost, and demand requirements.
  • Establish and provide necessary documentation in support of strategic operations programs and customer programs, and participate in project reviews as needed.
  • Proactively support and coach production technicians through frontline support, utilizing an integrated project team approach; provide training materials (both software and hardware) as needed.
  • Establish standard work practices across manufacturing to eliminate waste and increase productivity.
  • Develop and verify new jigs, tooling, equipment, parts, and processes to meet requirements.
  • Actively participate in the change management process related to your manufacturing process, driving and implementing process and design changes, supporting business process improvements.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues to evaluate, improve, and standardize the latest processes across the company portfolio.

Your Story

  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering field.
  • Insight into quality and safety standards, including AS9100 and OSHA or similar.
  • Experience working with composite, metallic, and non-metallic materials.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • Experience in the space or aerospace sector is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems, and proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience with MES, CAD, and other relevant complex software.
