Responsibilities
As a manual testing specialist, you will be responsible for executing functional tests on industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting manual functional tests on industrial machines.
- Defining and maintaining test cases based on available features.
- Performing hands-on tests that cannot be automated, such as opening the instrument, loading and unloading physical components, and conducting physical and visual inspections.
- Testing both new and existing software-driven features on the instrument.
- Recording and reporting test results in Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Collaborating closely with software developers to clarify test behavior and address any reported issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in manual testing of software-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience testing machines, instruments, or hardware-software systems.
- Experience with defining and executing test cases.
- Familiarity with Azure Test Plans.
- Comfortable working directly on physical equipment.
- A structured, precise, and detail-oriented approach to testing.
