Located in the historic St. Urban at the Three-Cantons Corner, Murhof AG is offering an extraordinary opportunity for a seasoned leader in long-term care. Our facility provides a warm and familiar home for approximately 60 residents, supported by dedicated services in a familial atmosphere. With a commitment from around 80 employees (60 full-time positions), we strive daily to enhance the quality of life and care for our residents.

Exciting developments are on the horizon: the project "Murhof – Living in Community" aims to establish a new nursing home with 72 care places, along with about 40 senior apartments, in collaboration with an investor. As we embark on this groundbreaking journey, we are seeking a leadership-experienced, entrepreneurial-minded, and compassionate individual to assume the role of:

Managing Director (80 – 100%)

In this pivotal position, you will work alongside the Board of Directors and the future management team to shape the strategic development of Murhof. You will also have overall responsibility for ongoing operations, ensuring they are managed economically, qualitatively, and organizationally in a cohesive manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the management team and staff
• Creating clear structures and delineating responsibilities
• Fostering a culture of self-responsibility, collaboration, and joy in shared objectives
• Implementing operational goals alongside the management team
• Enhancing Murhof's profile as an appealing employer
• Overseeing economic management and continuous improvement of organization, quality, and processes
• Offering operational insights in the "Murhof – Living in Community" project
• Acting as the liaison between the Board of Directors, ownership, construction committee, and operations
• Engaging proactively with various stakeholders and representing Murhof with enthusiasm and positivity

We are looking for an accomplished leader with several years of relevant experience and education. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of entrepreneurial and holistic thinking, complemented by social competence, initiative, and natural authority. You will champion self-determined living in Murhof and prioritize empathetic, constructive, and collaborative relationships.
