Our Treasury Advisory practice assists clients in addressing complex treasury challenges, including strategy development, policy enhancements, process optimization, and system implementations, backed by our deep treasury process and technology expertise.

The Treasury Advisory team executes treasury-focused transformation programs employing a holistic process design approach, utilizing cutting-edge solutions and technology. We collaborate with global technology providers, integrating their tools with our established expertise to offer effective solutions to our clients.

How You Can Make an Impact

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the implementation of treasury management systems, such as SAP TMS, Kyriba, FIS, and others.
  • Leading large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs by steering the treasury workstream.
  • Executing Treasury Advisory projects that involve analyzing treasury operating models, optimizing guidelines and policies, enhancing banking, cash and payment processes, as well as implementing in-house banking and payment factory solutions.
  • Delivering Treasury Health Check / Review / Internal Audit engagements to assess and benchmark clients' treasury organizations with industry best practices.
  • Managing engagement delivery and presenting project deliverables to client (senior) management.

In addition to project delivery, you will be an essential member of the Treasury Advisory leadership team, with responsibilities including:

  • Generating leads by engaging with clients across the Swiss and wider European markets, collaborating with other treasury specialists within the Deloitte network.
  • Developing and publishing materials that articulate Deloitte's perspective on key treasury topics to enhance market visibility.
  • Creating opportunities for sizeable and profitable engagements within the Treasury practice.
  • Leading and coaching junior team members.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Subject Matter Expertise in Corporate Treasury processes and systems (6+ years of experience).
  • A network of treasury professionals within the Swiss market.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of Treasury Management Systems, including:
    • Implementation experience in Kyriba or at least one other treasury system (e.g., FIS, ION, Coupa).
    • Knowledge of one or more SAP modules related to Treasury (Treasury & Risk Management, Cash Management, In-House Cash, Advanced Payment Management).
  • Consulting experience along with analytical and design thinking skills, demonstrating a passion for problem-solving.
  • A desire to share knowledge and ideas with colleagues.
  • Positivity and enthusiasm with a commitment to learning and building a robust career in treasury consulting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cash Management, Treasury Management, Payment Management, In-house Banking, Bank Relationship Management, Bank Communication Management, FX Risk Management, Hedge Management, and Accounting processes. Proven experience in developing treasury optimization recommendations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and German.
