Job Description
We are seeking a skilled individual to lead and conduct PCAOB integrated audits for Swiss-based multinational companies or Swiss subsidiaries of U.S. companies. Responsibilities include:
- Auditing spin-offs, disposals, opening balance sheets, and acquired businesses as part of various business combinations.
- Leading and supporting transaction-based projects requiring expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, PCAOB, and SEC reporting, including comfort letters, agreed-upon procedures, and reviews of registration statements.
- Delivering accounting advisory and SOX advisory services to non-audit clients.
- Coaching Swiss-based audit teams on technical US accounting, auditing, and reporting inquiries.
- Conducting internal and external PCAOB/US GAAS trainings.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Highly motivated, curious, and a proactive team player with a positive attitude.
- Client service-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAS/PCAOB and SEC requirements along with US audit methodology. Knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) is a plus.
- 5-10 years of recent integrated (PCAOB and US GAAP or PCAOB and IFRS) audit experience, preferably with KPMG or another Big 4 firm, and proficiency in researching accounting and auditing issues.
- U.S. CPA license (or equivalent).
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality services under tight deadlines.
- Proficient English skills; other languages are a plus.
