Why You Should Apply

At Sonar, we are a group of brilliant, motivated, and driven professionals dedicated to empowering developers to build better and faster. Our solutions continuously enhance code quality and security while minimizing developer toil, allowing them to focus on what they love. We tackle problems at their source, whether they arise from developer-written, AI-generated, or third-party code.

We foster a dynamic culture with employees worldwide, with hub offices in the USA, Switzerland, the UK, Singapore, and Germany. Team members should feel proud of the products they work on, energized by their peers, and excited about our mission to supercharge developers.

The Impact You Will Have

As the Manager of Global End-User Technologies, you will own the strategy and daily execution of Sonar's global helpdesk functions across all offices and remote locations. You will transform end-user support from a reactive ticket queue into a data-driven operation, where the metrics you define directly influence quarterly IT priorities.

Your role will involve balancing immediate support needs with longer-term strategic goals to ensure that every member of our growing global workforce has a reliable and frictionless technology experience to perform at their best. This position is ideal for a leader with deep experience in end-user technologies and a proven track record of building a high-performing global support team.

What You Will Do Daily

  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily support work for your team while balancing real-time user needs with quarterly strategic goals.
  • Define and own operational metrics grounded in industry standards, using data to drive prioritization decisions.
  • Develop direct reports through coaching and regular feedback, cultivating a high-performing global support team.
  • Create and maintain the team's operational plan and standards, ensuring alignment with broader IT Operations goals.
  • Communicate expectations, status, and escalations clearly to your team and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify recurring issues and systemic gaps, presenting solutions to reduce ticket volume and enhance the employee experience.
  • Engage proactively with colleagues in Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering to resolve cross-functional dependencies.

The Experience You Will Need

  • 5-8 years of proven experience managing a global or multi-site helpdesk or end-user support team.
  • A track record of defining operational metrics and using data to prioritize work based on strategic impact.
  • Experience creating and executing operational plans that align daily support work with quarterly and annual goals.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach direct reports effectively.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products and ITSM platforms (e.g., Jira Service Management, Confluence).
  • Experience using or developing AI tools to surface actionable insights or reduce end-user friction.
  • A clear and empathetic communicator capable of managing expectations across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment with a hybrid work model.
