Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

W Talent is excited to partner with a large manufacturing company located in Boston, Lincolnshire, as they seek to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This position involves Monday to Friday shifts, encompassing both day and afternoon schedules, and offers strong opportunities for development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fault diagnosis and resolve failures on production machinery within the Boston manufacturing plant.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and support production targets.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation faults, ensuring safe and efficient return of equipment to service.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring equipment issues and implementing preventative maintenance activities, repairs, and engineering solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
• Accurately complete all maintenance documentation using the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maintaining a detailed maintenance history.
• Conduct Risk Assessments, Permit to Work documentation, and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring compliance with company procedures and health and safety legislation.

Key Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering is essential.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of automation PLCs, fault finding, and diagnostics is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP.
