Excavator Operator - Civil Engineering (m/f) 100%
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in the thriving construction and civil engineering industry. The position is based in the picturesque region of Thurgau/Lake Constance, offering a unique opportunity to be a part of exciting construction projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and lead construction machinery, specifically excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, and dumpers.
- Execute excavation, grading, and compaction work for pipeline, road, and sewer construction projects with precision.
- Assist in earthworks, trench construction, and laying utility lines (water, sewage, electricity).
- Ensure safe and efficient work in accordance with plans, survey points, and instructions from construction management.
- Conduct daily inspections, maintenance, and basic servicing of machinery.
- Collaborate closely with the foreman, site supervisor, and construction team to ensure a seamless construction process.
- Adhere to all safety and quality regulations on the construction site.
- Provide assistance with general construction site work in civil engineering as required.
What You Bring:
- Several years of experience as an operator in civil engineering (excavator, wheel loader, or similar construction machinery).
- A valid construction machinery operator's license or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering, particularly in earthworks, pipeline construction, or road construction.
- An independent, precise, and responsible working style.
- A solid technical understanding and careful handling of machines and equipment.
- Team spirit, reliability, and flexibility in daily construction site operations.
- Good German language skills for effective communication on the construction site.
- A driving license in category B is an advantage.
