Your Role:
As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in applying first certifiable Machine Learning models in the domain of computer vision within aviation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure strong performance of our neural networks across all conditions by focusing on data, model design, and training.
- Maintain guaranteed performance through meticulous design and verification activities within our ML certification framework, developed in collaboration with regulators.
- Utilize transfer learning to significantly enhance the availability of training and evaluation data, particularly via simulation techniques.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent programming skills in C++ or Rust.
- Master’s or PhD degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Practical experience in deep learning for computer vision, covering the entire stack from model architecture to the design and implementation of evaluation pipelines.
- Proven research skills in both industrial and academic environments, demonstrating the ability to tackle complex problems over extended periods.
Experience in aerospace engineering or avionics is not required; we will provide comprehensive training on the constraints of safety-critical systems in airworthy applications.
