Operator MAB (m/f/d) - Downstream Processing (DSP)

We are currently seeking a qualified Operator MAB for Downstream Processing to support the Large Molecules Manufacturing (MAB) operations at the Basel site for our esteemed client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting GMP-compliant upstream processing activities for monoclonal antibody production, contributing to the rapid transfer-in of Ocre and the manufacturing of clinical and PPQ batches within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weighing of raw materials
• Sampling
• Conducting laboratory work, including cell counts and pH measurements
• Supporting plant maintenance activities
• Cleaning equipment and work areas
• Managing materials in local storage areas

Qualifications:

• Minimum vocational degree with a technical background; ideally, you are a Biotechnologist
• At least 1 year of experience in a Pharmaceutical or GMP production environment
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including supporting weighing processes and handling raw materials
• Basic MS Office skills and experience with MES/PLS (electronic documentation systems)
• Fluent German (minimum B2 level) in both speaking and writing
• A strong team player

This position operates under a 6/4 shift model and requires work within GMP-regulated cleanroom environments (Zone C/D). Close collaboration with the shift team is essential to ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality production processes. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to large molecule manufacturing by ensuring reliable upstream operations in a dynamic and quality-driven production environment.
