Job Opportunity: Operator MAB (m/f/d)

Location: Basel

We are seeking a qualified Operator MAB for Downstream Processing (DSP) to support Large Molecules Manufacturing operations at the esteemed F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd site in Basel. This role involves critical GMP-compliant activities in the production of monoclonal antibodies.

Project Overview

As an Operator MAB, you will play a vital role in the rapid transfer of Ocre and assist in the manufacture of clinical and PPQ batches within a highly regulated environment. You will take part in a range of hands-on production tasks including:

• Weighing raw materials
• Sampling
• Conducting basic laboratory work (cell counts, pH measurements)
• Cleaning equipment and supporting plant maintenance
• Managing materials in local storage areas

This position operates on a 6/4 shift model within GMP-regulated cleanroom environments (Zone C/D). Close collaboration with the shift team is essential to ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality production processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum vocational degree with a technical background; ideally in Biotechnology
• At least 1 year of experience in a Pharmaceutical or GMP production environment
• Physical capability to perform tasks related to raw material weighing and handling
• Basic MS Office skills and familiarity with MES/PLS electronic documentation systems
• Fluent in German (minimum B2 level) in both spoken and written forms
• Strong team collaboration skills
