Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, hosting essential research and development functions. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals for our esteemed client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Basel.

Background:

To facilitate the smooth transfer of Ocre in 2026 and ensure the production of clinical and PPQ batches, we need operational support for shifts in the manufacturing environment of large molecules MAB. Operators will be engaged in upstream processing (USP) activities, beginning in March 2026 and concluding at the end of Q1 2027. The operators will work on a 6/4 shift model.

Preferred educational backgrounds include scientific or technical fields such as pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, or chemistry. Experience in the purification of large molecules or extensive professional expertise in related areas is also desirable.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Weighing of raw materials
• Sampling
• Laboratory work, including cell count and pH measurement
• Supporting plant maintenance activities
• Cleaning
• Material management in local storage areas

Must Haves:

• Minimum vocational degree, technical background, understanding, and manual skills are required; ideally, a background in biotechnology
• At least 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP production environment
• Physical ability to support weighing processes and handle raw materials
• Basic MS Office skills and familiarity with MES/PLS (electronic documentation system)
• Fluent in German (minimum B2) in both spoken and written forms
• A strong team player
