Join Our Expanding Team as a Logistics Operations Specialist

Our company is excited to announce the establishment of a brand-new manufacturing site in Switzerland. To strengthen our Logistics department in Brügg, we are seeking a motivated individual for the position of Logistics Operations Specialist 100% (limited to 6-9 months).

Your Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Director in daily logistics and warehouse activities.
  • Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor operational performance and escalate risks or issues affecting service, quality, safety, or efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between warehouse and transportation teams.

Process Documentation and Standardization

  • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process maps, and operational documentation.
  • Ensure procedures are documented clearly, accessible, and aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and standardized work methods across logistics operations.

Training and Development

  • Coordinate and support onboarding and training activities for warehouse and logistics personnel.
  • Deliver training sessions on operational procedures and best practices.

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
  • Support Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence projects where applicable.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in implementing process enhancements and monitoring their effectiveness.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, with advanced knowledge of Lean Management.
  • Previous experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in German or French; English is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document processes clearly and accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with training and coaching capabilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple organizational levels.
