Logistics Coordinator - Maternity Cover (9 Months)

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee our warehouse operations during a maternity cover period of nine months. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing incoming and outgoing orders and ensuring efficient distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the handling of incoming and outgoing orders, including distribution and mail dispatch tasks.
• Assist in organizing various shipments to designated areas.
• Coordinate with transport providers while ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and timelines.
• Support physical warehouse operations on a day-to-day basis.
• Independently package shipments for events.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by executing regular stock counts to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting goods for damage, and updating the internal warehouse system accordingly.
• Assist in organizing returned items, including conducting inspections and restocking as appropriate.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all warehouse machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
• Coordinate incoming mail, distributing it physically to the mail pigeonholes and sending it digitally where accurate.
• Drive weekly to other FIFA buildings to collect and distribute mail.
• Provide support in other functional areas of Campus Hospitality & Logistics as needed.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, maintaining composure and efficiency during high-volume situations.
• Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks independently.
• Proficiency in English and German, with good spoken and written communication skills.

Education & Qualifications

• Commercial Apprenticeship in Logistics (Logistiker EFZ).
• Fluent in English and German.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Good knowledge of logistics systems.
• Valid driving license required.
• Willingness to be available for standby duties.
