Job Description
For one of our clients located in the northern Vaud region, we are currently seeking welders/metal workers for full-time positions. The responsibilities include:
- Carrying out welding tasks on vehicles and railway components, including ICN, FV Desto, and locomotives (RBDe560 DO, Re460, Re450).
- Following work documents according to EN15085 and/or ISO 3834 in collaboration with the welding coordination.
- Completing complex welds while contributing to quality and continuous improvement.
- Participating in safety and adherence to procedures in the workshop.
- Attending training to improve skills and share expertise.
- Working in teams with 2x8 or daytime schedules.
What We Expect
- A vocational diploma in the field of metallic construction.
- Proficiency in French as a native language.
- A strong sense of responsibility, rigor, and organization in task management.
- Solid experience in welding with qualifications 9606-1 and 9606-2 (MAG, MIG, and/or TIG).
- Experience as a VT, MT, or PT inspector according to EN/ISO 9712 is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a demanding and safety-oriented environment.
