Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, empathetic, and service-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to join our team as a Local HR Business Partner, based at our Established Pharmaceutical Headquarters in Allschwil.

As an experienced HR professional, you will take full ownership of HR responsibilities within your designated area, operating across the full spectrum of generalist HR functions.

Your expertise, enthusiasm, and hands-on mentality will establish you as a trusted partner to your stakeholders. You will build strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization and cultivate a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Main Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive advice, coaching, and support to managers and employees on all local HR topics and employment-related matters.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contract preparation, onboarding, probation reviews, changes in employment terms, and offboarding.
  • Handle administrative HR tasks.
  • Support payroll-relevant processes by coordinating with internal stakeholders (e.g., salary adjustments, variable compensation, absences).
  • Coordinate relocation and integration support for new hires, including collaboration with relocation agencies and local authorities.
  • Support annual HR processes such as performance management, compensation reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Drive the local implementation of global HR programs and policies, identifying and initiating process improvements tailored to the Swiss context.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, centers of expertise, and shared service teams in a matrix environment.
  • Contribute to HR projects and support the HR Manager with conceptual work and special assignments.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by fostering open communication, mutual respect, and cross-cultural understanding.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher commercial education with a focus on Human Resources.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR department, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry and in an international business environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Swiss labor law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy or quality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible mindset with a positive, solution-oriented *can-do* attitude.
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Outstanding communication and persuasion abilities, paired with a high level of customer orientation.
  • High intercultural competence and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across different levels and functions.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with digital HR tools and systems.
