LIVE-OUT NANNY / HOUSEKEEPER – PERMANENT 45% POSITION

BeeBoo is seeking an experienced, reliable, and dynamic live-out nanny/housekeeper for a mother based in Geneva to care for her 4-year-old daughter during the weekends, taking over from the main nanny.

The family recently relocated to Geneva after living in London. This is a stable, permanent position, approximately 45%, concentrated mainly over the weekend, with a short shift on Monday mornings.

The successful candidate will work as part of a two-nanny team alongside another nanny who cares for the family during the week. Excellent communication between both nannies is essential to ensure seamless continuity in the child's care and the organization of household duties.

• Schedule: Mainly Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning

The candidate must reside in Geneva or the immediate surrounding area to accommodate the weekend schedule, especially for the early Monday morning start. She must also hold a valid permit/status allowing her to work legally in Switzerland.

WORKING HOURS

• SATURDAY: Approximately 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• SUNDAY: Approximately 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
• MONDAY MORNING: 6:30 am – 8:00 am

The final schedule and exact organization of the position will be agreed upon with the family in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

WORKING AS A TEAM

The candidate will work alongside Garnise, the family’s main nanny. The family desires a candidate with a genuine team spirit, ensuring clear and consistent communication between both nannies regarding:

• The child and her daily routine;
• Meals;
• Activities and appointments;
• Laundry and household organization;
• Instructions from the mother;
• The cats;
• And other relevant information to ensure continuity.

The family hopes both professionals can easily communicate, support one another, and work as a cohesive team.

CHILDCARE RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Caring for a 4-year-old girl;
• Managing morning and evening routines;
• Preparing meals and snacks;
• Organizing age-appropriate activities;
• Arranging outings, games, park visits, and educational activities;
• Ensuring the child’s well-being and safety;
• Preparing her belongings when necessary;
• Managing the Sunday evening routine;
• Preparing the child on Monday morning;
• Ensuring she is ready for her school minibus at 7:20 am;
• Taking over the child’s care independently when the mother is away.

HOUSEHOLD RESPONSIBILITIES

The role also includes housekeeping responsibilities, such as:

• General household upkeep and tidying;
• Laundry management and organization;
• Meal preparation;
• Keeping living areas organized;
• Preparing the child’s bedroom and belongings;
• Performing various light household duties to maintain a clean home.

The candidate must be comfortable around cats, as she will also be responsible for feeding the cats in the morning and evening when required.

TRAVEL WITH THE FAMILY

The candidate should be available to occasionally accompany the family during travel. She must:

• Hold a valid passport;
• Have status allowing her to travel with the family;
• Be able to travel, particularly within Europe and to mountainous destinations;
• Exhibit sufficient flexibility to accompany the mother and child on trips.
