BeeBoo is in search of an experienced, dynamic, proactive, and highly flexible live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to support a mother and care for her 4-year-old daughter in Geneva.
The family recently relocated from London and is seeking a trustworthy individual who is ready to make a long-term commitment to their household and the well-being of their daughter. This is an authentic 100% live-in position, and previous successful experience working in a similar role within a private household is essential.
Position Details
- Location: Geneva – Florissant area
- Contract: Permanent – 100%
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Accommodation: Live-in – private bedroom and bathroom provided

Role Organisation
The family requires someone who is fully available in line with a live-in role, typically organized within the hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. Please note that these hours do not equate to 12 continuous hours of work; actual working hours, including breaks, will be in accordance with legal requirements and the Geneva CTT-EDom.
The nanny’s presence is particularly needed in the morning for the child’s routine and in the early evening. While the child is at school, working hours will focus on general housekeeping, laundry, cooking, and assisting with the family’s daily organization. Availability on Saturdays until approximately 7:00/8:00 pm is also required, based on the agreed schedule.
As the mother is raising her daughter independently, she seeks a genuinely flexible, reliable individual who can take full responsibility as necessary and ensure continuity in the family’s daily organization.
Childcare Responsibilities
- Preparing breakfast and managing the child’s morning routine
- Getting the child ready and accompanying her to school or the school bus
- Collecting her after school
- Caring for her until her mother returns
- Organising age-appropriate activities, outings, and playdates
- Preparing meals and snacks as required
- Managing the evening routine
- Ensuring her overall well-being, safety, and development
- Taking sole charge of the child when the mother is away
- Occasionally providing babysitting or overnight care when the mother travels
- Occasionally accompanying the family on trips when required
Household Responsibilities
While the child is at school, the candidate will support the smooth running of the household, including:
- General housekeeping and tidying
- Preparing and maintaining bedrooms and beds
- Laundry management
- Day-to-day tidying and organization
- Meal preparation and cooking for the family
- Grocery shopping and small errands as needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and pleasant home environment
- Providing general support to the mother in household organization
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Solid experience caring for children around 4 years old
- Proven experience as a Nanny/Housekeeper within private households
- Prior experience in a live-in role
- Commitment to a 100% live-in position with an understanding of the inherent flexibility
- Dynamic, proactive, thorough, and highly organized
- Warm, caring, and attentive with children
- Autonomous and confident in taking initiative
- Capable of managing childcare and household responsibilities
- Reliable and flexible
- Fluent in French or English
- Possesses the necessary documentation to work in Switzerland and travel with the family
- Comfortable around cats and free from cat allergies
A driving license and personal vehicle are not required for this position.
Conditions
- Indicative Salary: Starting from CHF 25 gross/hour, depending on experience and candidate profile
- Accommodation and Meals: Provided as part of the live-in position, in accordance with applicable regulations
