The IT Service Group (ISGINF) serves as the internal IT service provider for the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zurich, which has established itself as one of the world's leading academic institutions in computer science through excellent research and teaching. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a Linux System Engineer (80%-100%) to join us immediately or by agreement.
Our nine-member team manages the department's IT infrastructure, specifically tailored to the needs of professors and research groups. Together with researchers, we continuously develop our systems and applications, relying on the latest technologies.
As a Linux System Engineer, you will assume a diverse role with significant personal responsibility and actively contribute to innovative solutions. Your tasks and competencies will include:
Your first task will be to take over and rebuild our GitLab-based version control and DevOps platform for the department.
