Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled kitchen professional to efficiently run a specific kitchen station, ensuring seamless communication with the entire culinary team. The ideal candidate will take pride in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes that align with our restaurant's recipes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run a specific kitchen station efficiently, maintaining effective communication with the culinary brigade.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes that meet our restaurant's high-quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior cooks (Commis Chefs) and kitchen assistants within the station.
  • Inventory and monitor stock levels for your section, control food waste, and adhere to portion and cost budgets.
  • Enforce strict sanitation, food hygiene, and health and safety practices throughout your shift.
  • Assist senior chefs in brainstorming and testing new dishes or seasonal menu changes.
