Legal Advisor for Swiss and International Capital Market Issues
We are seeking a qualified professional to provide legal advice on Swiss and international capital market-related issues, focusing primarily on regulatory and securities law matters, as well as civil law issues. The role encompasses litigation, enforcement, and supervisory law in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise business lines and internal stakeholders on all legal matters, including financial market laws, IT law, Cloud outsourcing, and third-party risk management.
- Provide guidance on pension and insurance law, corporate, and commercial law.
- Support strategic Group-related transformation projects, audits, and regulatory requests, including initiatives for establishing new business ventures.
- Conduct legal assessments, draft, and structure tailored agreements and commercial contracts, including service agreements, intra-group service level agreements, index licenses, and distribution agreements.
- Review and draft Group-related documentation, including policies, marketing materials in relation to data protection, and press releases.
- Oversee the review and setup of financial products, complex financial transactions, and SPV structures.
- Assume responsibility for corporate governance and commercial matters, ensuring proper documentation is created.
- Implement national and international legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Leonteq Group, serving as Legal Project Manager as necessary.
