Job Description
We are seeking a legal professional with expertise in Swiss and international capital market issues, focusing primarily on regulatory and securities law matters as well as civil law issues. The role will involve litigation, enforcement, and (Swiss) supervisory law.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise business lines and internal stakeholders on all legal matters, including but not limited to financial market laws, IT law, Cloud outsourcing, and Third Party Risk Management.
- Provide guidance on pension and insurance law, corporate law, and commercial law.
- Engage in strategic Group transformation projects and respond to audit and regulatory requests.
- Draft and structure customized agreements and commercial contracts, including service agreements, intra-group service level agreements, index licenses, and distribution agreements.
- Review and draft Group-related documentation, such as policies, marketing materials related to data protection, and press releases.
- Set up financial products, manage complex financial transactions, and establish SPV structures.
- Take responsibility for corporate governance and commercial matters, creating the necessary documentation.
- Implement national and international legal and regulatory developments, ensuring compliance relevant to the Leonteq Group.
- Assume the role of Legal Project Manager when required.
