International School Rheintal is seeking a Learning Assistant to take the lead in managing and developing our learning hub (library/research area) for students ages 3-19, with a specific focus on the primary and middle years. We view our learning hub as a space for knowledge, blending the capabilities of digital technologies and AI with traditional resources such as print materials, journals, and books. In this role, you'll collaborate with teaching staff and students to foster a love for reading, research, and knowledge acquisition across all areas of learning while overseeing the daily management of the library and learning hub.

This learning assistant role leading the learning hub is dynamic within our IB school, where literacy, research, and knowledge are essential to developing inquisitive and knowledgeable young people. We are looking for a Learning Assistant who can manage the daily operations of the library while also playing a key role in supporting student knowledge acquisition, research, and learning. This position requires a passionate advocate for the Learning Hub services at ISR, working closely with teaching staff, students, parents, and the broader community to promote reading, research, and knowledge literacy.
The role is part-time and operates Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 13:15 during ISR term time only (for 185 days per year during school opening days). We strongly encourage applications from underrepresented groups in education.
