We are seeking a dedicated Learning Assistant with Learning Hub Lead Responsibility to manage and develop our learning hub (library/research area) catering to students aged 3 to 19, with a specific focus on the primary and middle years. Our learning hub serves as a sanctuary for knowledge, merging the power of digital technologies and AI with traditional resources like print materials, journals, and books. In this role, you will collaborate with teaching staff and students to cultivate a passion for reading, research, and knowledge acquisition across all areas of learning, while overseeing the daily management of the library and learning hub.

This learning assistant role is vital within our IB school where literacy, research, and knowledge are central to developing inquisitive and knowledgeable young people. We are looking for someone who can manage the everyday operations of the library while also playing an integral role in supporting student knowledge acquisition, research, and learning. This position requires a passionate advocate for the Learning Hub services at ISR, collaborating closely with teaching staff, students, parents, and the broader community to promote reading, research, and knowledge literacy.
The role is part-time, operating Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 13:15, during ISR term time only (for 185 days per year according to ISR school opening days - you can find our term opening dates here). We strongly welcome applications from underrepresented groups in education.
