Your Role
As a Supervisor (New Engines - LEAP), you will play a crucial role within the engine shop operational organization, supporting the Disassembly, Assembly, and Inspection area for LEAP engines. This position entails:
Your Tasks
- Manage and lead the assigned team in a multicultural environment.
- Assign work assignments to employees, plan resources according to workload, and monitor work efficiency.
- Assist in defining the Shop Layout and coordinate the implementation of equipment, tools, and workspaces.
- Support internal and external audits while coordinating necessary improvements and corrective actions.
- Participate in candidate interviews for the selection process (technicians and administrative personnel).
- Oversee all arrangements for the admission process (SRT card, uniform, training program, tooling car, integration on the shop floor, etc.).
- Manage the OJT, Qualification, and Certification Processes, providing feedback on technicians' overall performance.
- Assist in defining the training plan and coordinate its implementation.
- Identify and develop a supervisor deputy as part of the transition process, ensuring job continuity.
- Define and uphold the established 5S standard.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and related activities.
- Apply the Performance Management Process (PMP) and actively motivate employees.
Your Profile
- 4 years technical apprenticeship.
- Experience in Engine MRO.
- Minimum of 3 years in industrial manufacturing management with proven leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
- Willingness to work two shifts.
- Strong understanding of operations and their interrelations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a group of employees.
- Willingness to educate and train in relevant fields.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- High level of independence, self-initiative, and a willingness to perform.
- Good IT knowledge, including SAP R/3.
- Knowledge of and commitment to continuous improvement.
