Your Role

As a Supervisor (New Engines - LEAP), you will play a pivotal role within the engine shop operational organization, supporting the Disassembly, Assembly, and Inspection Area for LEAP engines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and leading a multicultural team.
  • Assigning work tasks and planning resources according to workload, while monitoring efficiency.
  • Assisting in defining the shop layout and coordinating the implementation of necessary equipment, tools, and workspaces.
  • Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring implementation of required improvements and corrective actions.
  • Participating in candidate interviews during the selection process for technicians and administrative personnel.
  • Coordinating all arrangements for the admission process, including SRT card, uniform, training program, tooling car, and integration on the shop floor.
  • Managing On-the-Job Training (OJT), Qualification, and Certification Processes, while providing performance feedback for technicians.
  • Assisting in the training plan definition and coordinating its implementation.
  • Identifying and mentoring a deputy supervisor as part of continuity planning.
  • Defining and maintaining the 5S standard in the workplace.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement and related activities.
  • Applying the Performance Management Process (PMP) and actively motivating employees.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of technical apprenticeship.
  • Experience in Engine MRO and a minimum of 3 years in industrial manufacturing management with proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and at least a B2 level of English.
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift schedule.
  • A strong understanding of operations and higher correlations within the industry.
  • The ability to lead and motivate a group effectively.
  • A commitment to educating and training team members in relevant areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
  • Good IT knowledge, including familiarity with SAP R/3.
  • An understanding of continuous improvement practices.
