Your Tasks
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts as scheduled.
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control the executed modifications and configurations on individual parts and assemblies.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work with a focus on quality.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment with environmental consciousness.
- Measure and control the assemblies in their mounted condition.
- Execute tasks independently with self-control over performed orders.
- Document activities in compliance with regulations.
- Perform internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and ensure timely implementation of defined actions.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specializing in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility for weekend shifts.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- An open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
- High awareness of safety, quality, and cost.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Proficient in English (level B1); knowledge of German is an advantage.
