Your Tasks
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts according to schedule.
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining high quality standards.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment (resources) in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
- Execute tasks timely and perform independent self-checks on completed orders.
- Document activities as per regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement defined actions promptly.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably in metal specialization (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineering, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Aviation MRO industry.
- Authorization to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66 is preferred.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility for weekend shifts.
- Ability to independently carry out assigned tasks with precision and responsibility.
- Open-minded and dedicated team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong awareness of safety, quality, and cost considerations.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with SAP.
- Knowledge of the English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
