Your Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts
- Request and execute engine modifications
- Control executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies
- Perform assigned work on time and ensure quality of work
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
- Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and safety
- Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner
- Measure control of assemblies in mounted condition
- Execute tasks independently with self-control over performed orders
- Document activities in accordance with regulations
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement defined actions promptly
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry
- Preferred authorization to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly
- Open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills
- High awareness of safety, quality, and cost
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP experience
- Knowledge of English (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus
