Position: LEAP Quality Inspector
Your Tasks
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule.
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control executed modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
- Perform assigned work on time and ensure quality of work.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment with environmental consciousness.
- Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
- Execute tasks timely and maintain independent self-control of performed orders.
- Document activities assigned in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and ensure timely implementation of defined actions.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- Open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
- High awareness of safety, quality, and costs.
- Proficient in MS Office with SAP experience.
- Knowledge of the English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
