Your Tasks
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and individual parts on schedule.
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control executed modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
- Complete assigned work on time while ensuring quality standards.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measure control of assemblies in mounted condition.
- Execute tasks in a timely manner and perform independent self-checks on completed orders.
- Document activities in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and ensure timely implementation of defined actions.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts with flexibility for weekend duties.
- Able to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- An open-minded and dedicated team player with excellent communication skills.
- High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
- Proficient in MS Office, with SAP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of English (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
