Your Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule.
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control executed modifications and configurations on individual parts and assemblies.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining quality standards.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
- Continuously improve processes with the aim of enhancing quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment and resources in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measure control of assemblies in the mounted condition.
- Execute tasks independently with self-monitoring and documentation of activities as per regulations.
- Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement defined actions in a timely manner.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably specializing in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- Open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
- High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP experience.
- Knowledge of the English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
