Position Overview: LEAP Quality Inspector

As a LEAP Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and individual parts on schedule.
  • Creating repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
  • Requesting and executing engine modifications.
  • Controlling executed modifications and configuration on single parts and assemblies.
  • Ensuring timely execution and quality of assigned work.
  • Applying Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Continuously improving processes to enhance quality and safety.
  • Consciously handling operating equipment with care for the environment.
  • Conducting measurement control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
  • Implementing self-control of performed orders effectively.
  • Documenting activities in accordance with regulations.
  • Performing internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implementing defined actions on time.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training, preferably in metal fields (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineering, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the Aviation MRO industry.
  • Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
  • Willingness to work in two shifts, with flexibility for weekend shifts.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
  • Open-minded, dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
  • High awareness of safety, quality, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge of English (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
