Position Overview: Lean CI Specialist - Engine Services

As a Lean CI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving lean cultural change within dedicated business areas. This role involves facilitating and participating in the implementation of lean and continuous improvement initiatives that support the area's objectives in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

Your Tasks

• Continually identify and reduce non-value-added activities as well as safety, environmental, and health hazards in the business area by participating in area-go-look-learn/waste walks.
• Facilitate or participate in the area’s improvement activities, projects, or workshops, such as:
  • 5S activities (workshops, audits, daily activities)
  • Standardization activities (process documentation, standard work definition)
  • Problem solving (root cause analysis investigations)
  • Value stream mapping (workshops, action implementation)
• Share and implement best practices across business areas, gathering area standards, improvement results, and best practices to share with the CI Manager and other CI Specialists.
• Conduct theoretical and practical rollouts, training, coaching, and communication of standard lean CI tools and methodologies within the area, including:
  • Weekly communication of CI-related updates
  • Explaining and guiding practical lean tool/methodology usage

Your Profile

• Degree in quality, process, or industrial engineering (Bachelor’s in Engineering/Business/Economics is a plus).
• Lean CI qualification: Green Belt (or equivalent) required; Black Belt desired.
• Proven project management experience (certification is a plus).
• Experience: 2+ years in Lean CI, 2+ years in process management, and 1+ year in project management as project lead.
• Background: 1+ year in a production/manufacturing environment (MRO experience is a plus).
• Languages: English B2 (C1 desired) and German C1 (Mandatory).
• Strong facilitation/training mindset is an advantage (e.g., running workshops and coaching teams).
