LEAD SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE
For Software Quality Team

YOUR TASKS
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Requirements Engineers, Software Engineers, and our QA department to define and discuss verification protocols, resolve application faults, and enhance software performance.
- Department Development: Further develop the Software Quality department and its systems.
- Team Management: Build, lead, and manage teams, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Test Strategy and Test Plans: Define, evolve, implement, and monitor comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure quality and performance.
- Quality Assurance: Identify quality issues, create detailed test reports, and maintain high standards.
- Identify Weaknesses: Pinpoint software application weaknesses and target areas for improvement.
- Automated Testing & Scripts: Create and implement automated software test procedures and develop automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and streamline processes.
- Automated Testing Environments: Define needs and environments to develop and run automated tests.
- Regression Testing: Further develop and conduct regression testing to ensure software stability.
- Integration Testing: Ensure seamless integration of software components and biotech devices.
- Manual Testing: Support thorough manual testing to identify and resolve issues.
- End-to-End Testing: Further develop and oversee end-to-end testing processes to validate complete system functionality.
- Review Bug Reports: Analyze software bug reports, highlight problem areas, and ensure timely resolution according to importance and priority.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation is created and maintained according to function and needs.
YOUR PROFILE
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: ISTQB or similar certification is essential.
- Biotech or Life-Science: A proactive mindset with a keen interest in biotechnology; experience in regulated environments is a plus.
- Extensive Experience: Proven experience as a QA automation engineer with at least 5 years in a leading position.
- Advanced Skills: Proficient in programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Vue.JS, Python), automation systems (Squish, Playwright), and databases (Oracle, Postgres).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Agile Development: Experience with SCRUM and Agile Development methodologies.
- Continuous Integration: Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Git, Jenkins, and the Atlassian suite with Xray, or similar.
- Work Permit: You must have a valid work permit for Switzerland; we only accept direct applicants (no agencies).
