Position Overview

  • The Lead Process Excellence is responsible for supporting DePuy Synthes in the separation and standardization of core business processes and products across the Plan, Source, Make, Quality, and Deliver streams.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Master Data processes, along with demonstrated experience leading a complementary team of experts to meet project timelines, scope, and objectives.
  • This role involves collaboration with business teams, technology teams, and domain experts to understand current business needs, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment through various programs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the master data team to ensure data configurations meet business capability needs.
  • Develop and deploy process deviation and data quality scorecards, along with improvement action plans for site owners.
  • Identify exceptional physical and financial/transactional archetypes and create a remediation action plan/decision log.
  • Work with the business adoption team to ensure organizational change, business readiness, site readiness, and training are delivered to meet business needs.
  • Engage with internal and external benchmark partners to adopt industry-standard methodologies and best practices into DePuy Synthes template design.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and issues while proposing solutions as necessary.
  • Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the management level.
  • Follow all company guidelines related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing-related roles.
  • Knowledge of FPX and APICS CPIM is desirable.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project System, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SAP and preferable PLM system implementation.
  • Experience in process reengineering.
  • Demonstrated management skills including communication, organization, people management, change management, and networking.

Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
