Position Overview

The Lead Process Excellence is responsible for supporting the separation and standardization of core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, and Deliver streams. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Master Data processes, along with experience leading a team of experts to meet timelines, scope, and objectives.

This position requires collaboration with business teams, technology teams, domain experts, and other functions to gain a deep understanding of current business needs, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment across various programs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the master data team to ensure data configuration meets business capability needs.
  • Develop and deploy Process Deviation & Data Quality Scorecards and improvement action plans for site owners.
  • List exceptional physical and financial/transactional archetypes and develop action plans for remediation.
  • Partner with the business adoption team to ensure organizational change, business readiness, site readiness, and training meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external benchmark partners to adopt industry-standard methodologies and current/future capabilities in template design.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and issues, proposing vital solutions.
  • Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with the team.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
  • Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  • 6-8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing-related functions.
  • Knowledge of FPX and APICS CPIM is desirable.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project System, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SAP and preferably PLM system implementation.
  • Knowledge of Process Reengineering.
  • Demonstrated management skills including communication, organization, people management, and change management.
