Position Overview
- The Lead Process Excellence is responsible for supporting DePuy Synthes in the separation and standardization of core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, and Deliver streams.
- This role requires knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Master Data processes, along with demonstrated experience leading a team of experts to meet timelines, scope, and objectives.
- The Lead Process Excellence collaborates with business teams, technology teams, domain experts, and other functions to gain a deep understanding of current business needs and capabilities, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment through various programs.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the master data team to ensure data configuration meets business capability needs.
- Develop and deploy Process Deviation & Data Quality Scorecards along with improvement action plans for site owners.
- Identify exceptional physical and financial/transactional archetypes and develop action plans/decision logs for remediation.
- Partner with the business adoption team to ensure organizational change, business readiness, site readiness, and training are delivered to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with Internal (Osprey teams) and external benchmark partners (e.g., Deloitte/SAP) to adopt industry standard methodologies and current/future capabilities from SAP into DePuy Synthes template design.
- Identify and communicate project risks and issues, proposing vital solutions.
- Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with the team.
- Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
- Adhere to all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices as applicable.
- If supervising or managing staff, ensure that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- University Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of experience in a supply chain or manufacturing-related function.
- FPX, APICS CPIM knowledge is desirable.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project System, PowerPoint, etc.).
- SAP and preferably PLM system implementation knowledge.
- Process Reengineering knowledge.
- Demonstrated management skills, including communication, organization, people management, change management, and networking.

Company Separation Announcement
Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business, establishing a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes.
