Position Overview

  • The Lead Process Excellence is responsible for supporting DePuy Synthes' separation and standardization of our core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, and Deliver streams.
  • The Lead Process Excellence possesses knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Master Data processes, as well as demonstrated experience leading a complementary team of experts to meet timelines, scope, and objectives.
  • This role requires collaboration with business teams, technology teams, domain experts, and other functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of current business needs, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment through various programs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the master data team to ensure data configuration meets business capability needs.
  • Develop and deploy Process Deviation & Data Quality Scorecards and improvement action plans for site owners.
  • Create action plans and decision logs for remediation of exceptional physical and financial/transactional archetypes.
  • Partner with the business adoption team to ensure organizational change, business readiness, site readiness, and training align with business needs.
  • Coordinate with internal and external benchmark partners (e.g., Deloitte/SAP) to adopt industry-standard methodologies and update current and future capabilities in the DePuy Synthes template design.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and issues and propose necessary solutions.
  • Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions.
  • Report business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
  • Supervise or manage staff to ensure adherence to company guidelines regarding health and safety, including the availability of necessary resources.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing-related functions.
  • FPX, APICS CPIM knowledge is desirable.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project System, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • SAP and, preferably, PLM system implementation knowledge.
  • Knowledge in Process Reengineering.
  • Demonstrated management skills such as communication, organization, people management, change management, and networking.
