Position Overview

The Lead Process Excellence is responsible for supporting DePuy Synthes in the separation and standardization of our core business processes and products across the Plan, Source, Make, Quality, and Deliver streams. This role requires knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Master Data processes, as well as demonstrated experience leading a team of experts to meet timelines, scopes, and objectives. The Lead Process Excellence collaborates with business teams, technology teams, domain experts, and other functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of current business needs and capabilities, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment across various programs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the master data team to ensure data configurations meet business capability needs.
  • Develop and deploy Process Deviation & Data Quality Scorecards and improvement action plans for site owners.
  • List exceptional physical and financial/transactional archetypes and develop action plans/decision logs for remediation.
  • Partner with the business adoption team to ensure organizational change, business readiness, site readiness, and training are delivered to meet business needs.
  • Work with internal (Osprey teams) and external benchmark partners (e.g., Deloitte/SAP) to ensure industry-standard methodologies and current/future capabilities from SAP are adopted into DePuy Synthes template design.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and issues, proposing solutions as necessary.
  • Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions with the team.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next level of management.
  • Follow all company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing-related functions.
  • Knowledge of FPX, APICS CPIM is desirable.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project System, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Keen understanding of SAP and preferably PLM system implementation.
  • Knowledge of process re-engineering.
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, people management, change management, and networking.
