The Laboratory of Molecular Medicine, led by Prof. Yohei Yamauchi, is at the forefront of innovation with the development of the ViViD-AFM V2.0—a next-generation nano-imaging system. This project emphasizes the transition from academic prototypes to commercial-grade industrial systems while ensuring complete IP independence from legacy V1.0 patents.
We are currently seeking a visionary Lead Mechatronics Engineer to drive the design and development of the V2.0 system, collaborating closely with our Lead Architect. This pivotal role is part of a strategic initiative to create a high-speed AFM system tailored for advanced biological research.
This position presents a unique opportunity to bridge high-level academic research at ETH Zurich with the dynamic atmosphere of a high-tech startup. You will lead the architectural development of a pioneering system poised to redefine nano-imaging. Our highly collaborative environment welcomes your expertise and creativity as we support your transition into the spin-off phase.
