Position: Lead Controller High Speed Division - Switzerland
In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy of financial statements and uphold financial integrity in accordance with all internal and external regulations. You will orchestrate the local budget and forecast process in collaboration with business stakeholders, acting as a business partner to support management with analytical insights and state-of-the-art dashboards, aligned with the strategic objectives of the High-Speed Division.
Your Responsibilities
- Secure the budget process and ensure that strategic goals are reflected in the budgets for the High Speed Division in Switzerland.
- Execute month-end reporting and closing activities, including financial statement reviews, analysis, and the creation of dashboards, while proposing actionable insights.
- Regularly review balance sheet items, assessing provisions and accruals, especially for warranty and stock.
- Develop templates and provide supporting analyses to measure financial business performance, offering forward-looking information to aid the Division High Speed in resource allocation, cost savings, NWC, and inventory optimization.
- Monitor costs and implement cost-reduction strategies (SG&A, Travel, and Entertainment).
- Contribute to the strategic planning process (five-year plan) for the Division.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to derive accurate business forecasts (monthly, bi-annually, annually, and for the next 18 months) as input for global High Speed forecasts.
- Work closely with Product Management for transparent product cost controlling, planning, and customer profitability monitoring, while providing input for improvement plans.
- Monitor legal risks for the global Division High Speed.
- Ensure correct revenue recognition and compliance with internal controls.
- Provide insights for risk reviews and investment proposals to Division management.
- Oversee factory controlling regarding budgeting, cost monitoring, utilization, absorption, and productivity.
- Supervise capital investments and monitor ongoing CAPEX investments from a financial perspective.
- Engage in project work both within and beyond the High Speed Division.
Your Background
- A solid educational foundation in Finance and Controlling with substantial experience in an international business environment.
- Over 6 years of experience in a controlling/accounting function.
- A structured and results-oriented approach, with a focus on internal controls and processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities and cross-cultural communication skills.
- High level of coordination and communication skills to capture and understand relevant financial information.
- Proficient in SAP (FI and CO, SD modules) and MS Office (Excel, PPT, etc.), with additional software skills in Copilot (AI).
- Proven problem-solving skills, approaching challenges with an open mind and a persistent solution-oriented mindset.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German and English.
