How You Can Make an Impact

  • You will provide high-quality legal advice to our clients across a wide range of industries on domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, joint ventures, and post-transaction reorganization and integration engagements.
  • You will play a key role in executing, together with financial advisory, tax, consulting, and other Deloitte service lines, end-to-end M&A engagements, including coordinating complex transactions with clients, involved Deloitte service lines, and external parties.
  • You will benefit from the opportunity to participate in various projects driven by other Deloitte service lines and gain insights into our multidisciplinary approach.
  • You will form an integral part of our growing Deloitte Legal team and help us further shape and develop our transactional services in the market.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You are admitted to the bar in Switzerland or Germany and ideally have academic or professional experience obtained abroad.
  • You bring 3-5 years of post-bar-admission experience in transactional matters gained in a traditional law firm, a professional services firm, or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational firm.
  • You possess a “can do” and client/solution-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate and interact smoothly with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • You are capable of taking project ownership and can analyze complex problems to develop and communicate solution options while organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and demanding advisory environment.
  • You have an entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and effective mindset with an affinity for innovation and technology-enabled legal services.
  • You are communicative and resilient, exhibiting a high level of self-initiative and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
