Are you a lawyer with a passion for M&A transactions and a desire to help shape a high-performing M&A team? At Deloitte Legal, you will work on transformative deals for national and international clients, contributing to the strategic growth of our M&A practice group.

We provide comprehensive legal advice across several areas, focusing mainly on M&A, corporate, commercial, financial, capital market, and employment law matters. We are looking for proactive, team-oriented lawyers who are ready to introduce fresh ideas and elevate our legal practice. Your Impact

  • Provide high-quality legal advice across a wide range of industries on domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, joint ventures, as well as post-transaction reorganization and integration engagements.
  • Play a key role in executing end-to-end M&A engagements, collaborating with financial advisory, tax, consulting, and other Deloitte service lines, while coordinating complex transactions with clients, involved Deloitte service lines, and external parties.
  • Participate in various projects driven by other Deloitte service lines, gaining insights into our multidisciplinary approach.
  • Become an essential member of our growing Deloitte Legal team and help us further develop our transactional services in the market.
  • Engage in a clear, long-term career path supported by a professional training curriculum.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You are admitted to the bar in Switzerland or Germany, with academic or professional experience gained abroad being an advantage.
  • You possess 3-5 years of post-bar-admission experience in transactional matters, acquired in a traditional law firm, a professional services firm, or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational company.
  • You have a client-focused, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • You can take project ownership and possess the analytical skills to tackle complex problems, develop and communicate solution options, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving advisory environment.
  • You have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset, with an inclination towards innovation and technology-enabled legal services.
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills, resilience, self-initiative, and a willingness to exceed expectations.
  • You are fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
