Service Engineer Laser
Your Tasks
As a Service Engineer for laser technology, you will play a pivotal role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of laser texturing and cutting machines.
- Execution of retrofits, upgrades, and machine conversions.
- Identification and implementation of optimization opportunities in collaboration with Development and 2nd Level Support.
- Professional handling, troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation of service cases.
- Support in creating, reviewing, and improving technical documentation and process procedures.
- Occasional assistance with trade fair setup and dismantling activities.
- Ensuring full compliance with Advanced Manufacturing safety standards, including particle emissions, laser radiation, contamination control, gas handling, and explosion prevention.
- Participation in additional functional responsibilities based on expertise and business requirements (e.g., internal training, quality initiatives, or special technical projects—approximately 10% of working time).
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Completed technical vocational training, ideally with an additional qualification as a certified technician.
- Several years of experience as a Service Technician for laser machines or comparable high-tech industrial equipment.
- Strong customer-service orientation, combined with an independent and structured work approach.
- High willingness to travel (up to 90%) across Europe and Switzerland.
- Good MS Office skills and strong IT knowledge in hardware and software environments.
- Fluent English skills are mandatory, along with fluent German or French.
- High commitment to providing excellent customer support and service quality.

- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
