Key Responsibilities
- Lead system engineering activities related to landing gear design, integration, and validation.
- Drive the development and certification of sub-systems including Wheels, Brakes & Tyres, Nose Landing Gear Steering, and Shimmy Damper.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, hydraulic, and software engineering.
- Develop and review system requirements, specifications, and verification plans.
- Support risk analysis, testing, and certification activities related to landing gear systems.
Ideal Candidate
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience as a Systems Engineer specializing in landing gear systems.
- Proven expertise in the development and certification of Wheels, Brakes & Tyres, Nose Landing Gear Steering, and Shimmy Damper.
- Strong knowledge of aeronautical standards and certification processes.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German or other languages is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
