As a Laboratory Technician in Physics (100%), you will support innovation engineers and be involved in experimental design, data collection, and interpretation. Your role will also include supporting the design, assembly, operation of testing setups, and quality control.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn, Switzerland.

What is the role?

  • Support innovation engineers in their projects for industrial water purification and water quality monitoring.
  • Be involved in experimental design, data collection, and interpretation.
  • Assist in the design, assembly, and operation of testing setups.
  • Conduct various physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustics, etc.) as part of the scope of work.
  • Support Quality Control activities.
  • Engage with international suppliers and customers.
  • Establish analytical reports.

Does this sound like you?

  • Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or equivalent in physics, or a bachelor's degree in physical measurements with previous industrial experience.
  • Senior level of proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Prior experience in Quality Control is a plus.
  • Self-driven personality, creative, and able to work under pressure.
  • Hands-on mentality with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working capability.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (occasionally; up to 10%).
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German and/or French is an added value.
  • You are an EU or Swiss citizen or have a valid work permit for Switzerland.
