As a Laboratory Technician in Physics (100%), you will support innovation engineers through experimental design, data collection, and interpretation. Your role will also involve the design, assembly, operation of testing setups, and ensuring quality control.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn, Switzerland.

What is the Role?

  • Support innovation engineers in projects related to industrial water purification and water quality monitoring.
  • Engage in experimental design, data collection, and interpretation.
  • Assist in the design, assembly, and operation of testing setups.
  • Conduct various physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustics, etc.) as part of the scope of work.
  • Support our Quality Control activities.
  • Communicate with international suppliers and customers.
  • Prepare analytical reports.

Does This Sound Like You?

  • Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or equivalent in physics; a bachelor’s in physical measurements with previous industrial experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools at a senior level.
  • Prior experience in Quality Control is advantageous.
  • Self-driven, creative, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Quick learner, adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel internationally (occasionally; up to 10%).
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German and/or French is considered a plus.
  • You are an EU or Swiss citizen or possess a valid work permit for Switzerland.
