As a Laboratory Technician specializing in Physics (100%), you will play a vital role in supporting innovation engineers through experimental design, data collection, and interpretation. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the design, assembly, and operation of testing setups, as well as overseeing quality control.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn, Switzerland.

What is the Role?

  • Support innovation engineers in projects related to industrial water purification and water quality monitoring.
  • Contribute to experimental design, data collection, and interpretation.
  • Assist in the design, assembly, and operation of testing setups.
  • Conduct various physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustics, etc.) as part of your responsibilities.
  • Support quality control activities.
  • Engage with international suppliers and customers.
  • Prepare analytical reports.

Does This Sound Like You?

  • Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or equivalent in physics; a bachelor's degree in physical measurements with relevant industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Previous experience in quality control is a plus.
  • Self-driven, creative, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Quick learner, adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (occasionally, up to 10%).
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German and/or French is an added advantage.
  • EU or Swiss citizenship or a valid working permit for Switzerland.
