As a Laboratory Technician specializing in Physics (100%), you will support innovation engineers and engage in experimental design, data collection, and interpretation. Additionally, you will aid in the design, mounting, and operation of testing setups, as well as ensuring quality control.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn, Switzerland.

What is the Role?

• Assist innovation engineers in projects focused on industrial water purification and water quality monitoring.
• Participate in experimental design, data collection, and interpretation.
• Support the design, assembly, and operation of testing setups.
• Conduct various physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustics, etc.) as part of the workload.
• Contribute to our Quality Control activities.
• Engage with international suppliers and customers.
• Prepare analytical reports.

Does This Sound Like You?

• Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or equivalent in physics, Bachelor in physical measurements with previous industrial experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Previous experience in Quality Control is a plus.
• Self-driven, creative, and capable of working under pressure.
• Hands-on mentality alongside a sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Strong communication skills with a team-oriented perspective.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally (occasionally; up to 10%).
• Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
• EU or Swiss citizenship or a valid work permit for Switzerland.
